Gentle Fund Organization’s projects engage both volunteer members as well as hired local staff. Below are our current vacancies:
HIRED STAFF: 1 vacancy
1 – 'BE A GUARDIAN' PROJECT COORDINATOR (Hanoi based) (part-time paid)
Responsibilities
Manage total 64 existing cases of BAG project located mostly in Hanoi and vinicity provinces such as Bac Ninh and Hung Yen, Hai Phong. And also sourcing for new cases based on pre-determined criteria if require.
Detailed tasks are:
- Managing data of those cases (including hard & soft copies)
- Sourcing and documenting new cases that meet BAG criteria.
- Scrutinizing and updating all BAG cases twice a year
- Visiting families of those cases according to BAG management team’s requirements
- Working closely with BAG Representative in Vietnam to make sure that the donations are used at the right cause and those cases receive all the necessary supports.
Requirements:
- Confident, mature, and professional in dealing with families of sponsored cases
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet skills such as emailing and HTML webpages etc
- Be cautious in managing BAG database
- Degree holder, preferably with good English comprehending and writing skills
- Interested in social work, flexible working time, mobility
- Take initiative in this role; good planning skills and time management; able to cooperate remotely with BAG Management team based in Singapore via email
- Data organizing skills to be applied in managing BAG database. It should be organized and managed in order to create an easy access if required.
- Completing the requirements of BAG management team on time
- Possess a personal laptop or desktop with Internet support and digital camera
- Work 25 hours/week with flexible timings

1 - DIRECTOR OF FINANCE (HCM based)
Responsibilities
- Finance operations including:
- Process transactions through internet banking; and keep track of income and expenses of GFO in Vietnam.
- Budget planning for projects and other GFO activities in Vietnam as well as in Singapore
- Provide financial/ accounting perspective to GFO operations as when it is required
- Resolve financial/ accounting issues if required
- Pro-actively identify potential financial/ accounting problems and raise such issues up to the Management, and thereafter propose solutions
- Attend management meetings if required.
- Work closely with person in charge of Finance in Singapore
Requirements:

Responsibilities
- HR operations including:
- Plan and lead the execution of recruitment activities as if needs arise.
- Create a system to manage HR data & information in order to utilize for HR & management’s purposes
- Contribute HR perspectives in preparing and/ or solving legal matters related to employment
- Create a procedure to orient new members/ hires in order to engage them in the organization and educate them about GFO’s culture & policies
- Resolve any ad-hoc issues related to HR
- HR strategies including:
- Build up an HR strategy for long term sustainability of GFO
- Be involved in strategic discussions with heads of projects/ functions in order for GFO to achieve its vision & mission
- Pro-actively identify potential HR problems and raise such issues up to the Management, and thereafter propose HR perspectives in finding solutions.
- Attend management meetings on a regular basis if required.

- Education: at least Bachelor degree
- Working experience: at least 2 years of working experience
