Treatment Information:
2001-2006 - Found a watery pouch inside the bile duct
- Patient had fever and was hospitalized, found a tumor in the bile duct
- Received treatment for bile infection
1/2007 - Patient had fever, jaundice, indigestion
- Admitted to Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore and underwent stenting operation to the bile duct to prevent infection
- Underwent blood test, PET scan
2/2007 - Consulted with liver specialist, confirmed with a metastasis large tumor in the bile duct
- Treatment protocol: Chemotherapy, then consider for operation to remove the tumor
- Hospitalized to perform internalized stenting
2/2007 - Consulted with oncology doctor, given protocol: 4-6 times of chemotherapy to increase the survival rate of the patient
- Each cycle of chemotherapy lasts for 3 weeks with pills and injections. The first week in Singapore, then next 2 weeks in Vietnam
2/2007 - 10/2007 - Patient underwent many courses of chemotherapy. The tumor had responded well with chemo-drugs
- Patient had no fever, reduced indigestion, only itchy and sun-tanned due to the side effects of anti-cancer drugs
11/2007 - Patient suddenly could not eat and was suffered from floating stomach
- Hospitalized, doctor placed a tube to drain out liquid in the belly
- Patient felt better and went back to Vietnam
