Little Duong was introduced to GFO in March 2008.
Treatment Information:
3/2008 - Patient underwent full blood count and bone marrow test in Vietnam and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)
- The family decided to bring the patient over to have treatment in National University Hospital (NUH)
4/2008 - After doing tests, doctor diagnosed him with Lymphoma which has already affected the bone marrow (only 3% of Lymphoma patients have this symptom)
- Treatment protocol: 5-6 courses of chemotherapy until August 2008. After that, the family can come back to Vietnam and go to Singapore to check-up in 6 months
- The patient has underwent the first course of chemotherapy. So far, the blood result was good, which shown that the body responses well to the drug
- The patient is outpatient, he only needs to visit hospital every week to do blood test. He should be extra careful in eating hygiene
5/2008 - The patient was planned to receive the second chemotherapy on 12/5
