Little Linh was introduced to GFO in September 2007.

Treatment Information:
9/2007 - Patient saw doctor in National University Hospital (NUH) and was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma near neck area
- Because the patient was too little, doctor proceeded no more and suggested to come back for check-up in 3 months
1/2008 - Patient was back to Singapore and the tumor was found that to increase in size
- Doctor decided the treatment protocol: 8 courses of chemotherapy to reduce the tumor's size. Each course will be given every 3 weeks
1/2008 - After the first chemotherapy, patient responded well with the drugs, the tumor was softer and appeared smaller
- Patient lost appetite due to side effects
- Patient would see doctor every week and do blood test
4/2008 - After the second cycle of chemotherapy, the big tumor in her neck was significantly reduced in size but the deeper tumor was slightly bigger. At the moment, the patient was preparing for the third chemotherapy
- The patient still lost appetite due to side effects and had to hospitalize several times because of fever
5/2008 - Patient was admitted to receive antibiotics to treat high fever due to infection of catheter in the neck.
- Patient underwent many tests: MRI test to find out about location and size of tumors around the neck, MIBG test to find out active and non-active tumors.
- DNA test shown that the patient is carrying dominant gene, which will make the treatment more intensive. MRI also shown that the tumor did reduce in size, but was still active.
- The doctor was going to discuss with the family about next treatment protocol, whether to operate to remove the tumor or to use stronger chemo-drugs.
6/2008 - Doctor decided to use a new, stronger type of chemo-drug, which may cause high fever on the patient.
- Patient underwent the first cycle of new chemotherapy. She was suffered from high fever and had to admit to the hospital as predicted by doctor.
- The tumor has reduced in size. The patient gained weight.
- At the moment, the patient was waiting for blood indicators to increase so that she could process with the second cycle.
